Established in 2000 on River Street in South Yarra, Nellie Castan Gallery is one of Australia's most respected galleries. The gallery is committed to exhibiting emerging and mid‐career artists. Dedicated to the promotion of work across all contemporary media, Nellie Castan Gallery has held over 200 exhibitions and participated in a number of national and international art fairs.

Nellie Castan Gallery has two exhibition spaces. Gallery I showcases solo exhibitions by represented artists, while Gallery II is a smaller project space for unrepresented local and overseas emerging artists.

Gallery Director, Nellie Castan has been involved in the Melbourne art world for the past 30 years, having initiated a number of galleries in the 1980's and 1990's. Drawing and expanding on this experience, Nellie Castan Gallery is a respected and established destination for artists, art enthusiasts and art professionals.
