The Cowra Regional Art Gallery was established in September 2000 and is located in a cultural precinct which includes the Cowra Library, the Cowra Civic Centre, the Australian World Peace Bell and the Cowra Shire Council Chambers. The Gallery is purpose built with high ceilings, track lighting, art museum security and environmental controls. The Cowra Regional Art Gallery is committed to offering a broad range of curated and touring exhibitions derived from regional, state and national sources covering the visual arts, crafts and design including historical and contemporary themes and subjects.
