Savernake Farmstay is a genuine 1912 farm cottage adjacent to high-quality Australian bush within an historic pastoral property. It is an ideal destination for a country retreat, close to renowned tourist attractions in Yarrawonga and Lake Mulwala. Only a 25 minute drive away.
Savernake Station was listed by the New South Wales Heritage Council in 1213, recognising the significance of the environmental, cultural, historical, agricultural and social aspects of the property. The National Trust awarded a Heritage Award for Education and Interpretation in May 2014.
The Cottage offers historic ambience with modern comforts. Its location offers the visitor many features and possibilities. It is surrounded by pastoral and natural land, with abundant native fauna including kangaroos and other marsupials and over 120 bird species.
