Hargraves Beach house is an exclusive luxury holiday beach house for up to 12 guests and we actually have 12 beds that can offer all kinds of single and double options. We do not accept large groups of adults without discussion as we have a strict no-party or excessive noise policy.The house is hard to beat for size, ocean views. the location's proximity to the beach or the range and quality of European fittings, fixtures and appliances. Enter from the double lock up garage with internal access to the home. There are 12 seperate premium beds. Four of the five bedrooms can be altered to suit combinations of king doubles and/or twin singles, the remaining bedroom has four adult size bunk beds. The house and facilities are very family friendly and safe with locking stair gate, optional outdoor spa with cover locks and we supply up to 3 high chairs and 2 portacots at no charge - the kitchen has most items included such as mixing bowls, blender, juicer, can and bottle openers, bbq tools, big spoons, platters, foil trays etc. We are located on the upper NSW Central Coast of Australia on Elizabeth Drive, Noraville, on the only street with a beach front north of The Entrance and south of Newcastle - about an hour's drive from Sydney (15 minutes from the M1 Motorway Toukley/Warnervale Interchange, 15 minutes south of Newcastle and 45 minutes from the Hunter Valley's wine region. An off-the-main-road quiet location. Uniquely perched on the high side of the street are spectacular panoramic ocean views from the lounge, kitchen, dining and some bedroom areas as well as from the wrap-around covered deck and the outside heated Spa. All our guests are impressed with the views and the fact that they can easily view a sunrise, sunset or the stars from the house. Twice the size of an average house and completely private and self - contained accommodation. with 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms for up to 12 guests. Reverse cycle ducted air conditioning is in every room. We suggest a limit of 8 - 10 adults, as the fifth bedroom contains 2 Double Deck Bunk Beds. These double deck bunk beds have pillow-top best quality mattresses and are adult size and length, but access to the top two bunks is by a small ladder as you can see in the above photo gallery, it is more suited to children, teenagers and lithe adults. The Northerly aspect is warm in winter and cool in summer. Guests have commented that even in wet weather the house works as there are plenty of living areas and covered outdoor areas including undercover garage access. Although we do not allow pets, there is a nearby Pet Motel 7km away that is recommended by our local vet. (All Paws Pet Motel Lake Munmorah) With spacious indoor and outdoor areas, this modern and immaculately presented house is perfect for family vacations, reunions and pre-wedding stays.AccommodationHargraves Beach House is divided into two private and totally separated self-contained living levels. The middle floor level including all living, entertainment and sleeping areas, backyard, spa and street level double garage is for guest's exclusive use. Your own private access is by 2 secure undercover and 2 open space parking spots at ground level. The top level of the house has its own garage and private access and is occupied permanently by owners and caretakers Ian & Lyn McCallum. This provides additional security and allows ON-SITE caretaking and check-in. It also allows the return of bond at CHECKOUT.LOCAL FACILITIES BEACHES Beach access is opposite the house leading to a sheltered, family-friendly beach. Hargraves Beach is protected by a reef creating calm conditions, ideal for children. There are also patrolled surf beaches a short distance away at Lakes Beach and Soldiers Beach. Nearby Cabbage Tree Harbour has a tidal rock pool and small sheltered beach suitable for young children. Jenny Dixon Beach, Park and a Picnic (BBQ's) area is within 5 minutes walking distance. LAKES Lake Macquarie, Budgewoi Lake & Tuggerah Lake are nearby and are ideal for water sports and fishing. There are also cycling and walking paths along almost the entire sections of these lakesFISHING Hargraves Beach is popular for beach fishing year round and the large rock platform below Norah Head Lighthouse is also a popular spot. Cabbage Tree Harbour has a boat ramp for access to the ocean and there are boat ramps to the lakes; the closest being to Budgewoi Lake from Slade Park on the southern side of Budgewoi Bridge - 4km from the house. OTHER LOCAL ACTIVITIES INCLUDE: - Visit the vineyards in the Hunter Valley (45 minute drive) and experience a seated VIP tasting session at Ivanhoe Wines EXCLUSIVE to Hargraves Beach House Guests and available by appointment only. - Whale watching (May-June and September-October) - Walking tracks in local National Parks (Munmorah State Conservation Area & Wyrrabalong NP) - walk in the last remaining littoral coastal red gum forest. - Extensive cycle and walking paths - Golf (Toukley, Magenta Shores and Tuggerah Lakes golf courses) - Norah Head Lighthouse tours - Pelican feeding at The Entrance - Wyong Milk Factory, cheese tasting and kyak hire - Snorkelling & scuba diving at Cabbage Tree Harbour & Terrigal as well as on the five reefs just 100m off Hargraves Beach - Patrolled surfing at Lakes Beach, Soldiers Beach. - Kayaking on Lake Macquarie A large range of local shops (including Coles and Aldi supermarkets) are five minutes drive away at Toukley and Budgewoi. The Toukley markets are open each Sunday and the Farmers Market at The Entrance is every first and third Saturday of the month. Both Toukley and Budgewoi have a variety of restaurants, cafes and clubs. - No smoking indoors - No pets - No parties/functions - Accommodation is for a maximum of 12 guests, no day guests without approval.
